Mounted Shooting June 2018

June 23,2018 I had the chance to take a Mounted Shooting Clinic in Pincher Creek. Zee and I had so much fun. I got the bug real bad and ended up buying some guns.

There is so much to think about when it comes to shooting. The gun, the ballons, the horse, the pattern but it is so so fun!

Mom's Leg 28 May 2018

While we were sorting off pairs to get out to grass Mom had her leg over the fence into the pen with the cows. A cow hit her leg while it was moving around in the pen and it broke mom's leg just below her knee. Needless to say this was a very stressful time for all of us.  This happened 28 May 2018. I wondered if we would manage, but we did.

We had good help from home care, Cheyenne along with Deb Zemp and Iona Larsen were angels! They helped out so much with morning/evening rituals and Mom's physio. I was ever so grateful for all their help and skill.

Little Piper (with the help of her grandma Kelly) decided that they needed to come spend some time with grandma Joy while she was healing. Oh it is always the best when the little ones show up for any reason. Piper came for a few days in June.

Piper got a ride in on Shasta. Her laugh is contagious and we love to have her come visit.
