Party In the USA !

This weekend was GREAT!! I ran my first 5km race in Polson Montana with the Fab Four: Barb, Marilee, Kaylynn and Moi!!

Just before the race, waiting with anticipation, wondering if I'll do it without stopping!!

This race was called Live Locally and this year they were supporting an Olympic Pole Vaulter who grew up in Polson Montana. Her name is Melinda Owen, and we decided to get a picture with her, so that when she won gold we could have bragging rights!! She was so gracious and just a great person.

Here are the girls all showered up, looking mighty fine after completing their race. They are on the balcony of our hotel room. We all felt good about the race and oh boy did we have fun!!!

Oh, how is it that we are all wearing the same T'shirt? Oh,ya we just completed a 5km race and of course we are showing off, even if it is just for us!!

You know the trip was about more than running a 5km race!! Check out the goodies the girls aquired on the way to the race!! A good time had by all ! Good thing we didn't take the jetta is all I can say!
