The WOW ladies decided to bike from Cardston to Carway,AB.Marilee as she comes in for a well earned break. 29.17 miles RT.
I was working that day, so I got in the group picture. We are all spaced out, you know COVID!! AHHHHHH! This was the ride where Lorna said that I should get a bike and join the gals riding. Lorna had a bike that was not being used so her son-in-law Jimmy fixed up the bike, I bought it and now I ride with the gals. It's a great thing to do.

Marilee turns 60 this year on 7 June. A 60 mile bike ride was on order to honor the milestone. They started at Hawks Nest west of Waterton's Park Gate 8 miles and headed for Magrath.
Marilee had more than one flat on this memorable occasion.
This is about 10 miles into the trip, there is always something to overcome.
I joined the ladies at Marilee's house, for my first bike ride I didn't think I could do 60 miles, so I did 40. Marilee provided the party favors at a pit stop in Cardston, it was fun. Such a great group of friends.
Two other ladies had flats through out the trip, Adventure I say.
We made it to Magrath, and I have to say I can't believe how much fun it is to ride a road bike. I'm so glad Lorna encouraged me to invest in a bike and join the group.

Two days after a 40 mile ride to Magrath we did a bike/hike up Red Rock Canyon as it was closed to cars. It's a hard climb but oh so much fun coming down!!!
Oh I love where I live and I love the friends that I am able to share all this with. I am very blessed!
This ride/hike was 22 miles RT. So I'm up to 62 miles on the bike.I love my new activity that gets me out and about. Road Bikes Rock!
