Nathan's Kids come to the Ranch!

Julianna Joy Lowry or JJ has found my boots and an old hat we have around. She is all ready to head out!

Oh it is so fun when the kids come to Grandma's!!

We went hiking to Bertha Falls this fine afternoon. Grandpa Mike, Thomas, Hunter, Nathan and JJ!

Time to swim in Upper Waterton Lake! Notice just the kids are swimming? It's too cold for this cat!

 Granite Park Chalet: 15 Miles Return

We are headed out to the Granite Park Chalet. This hike is so pretty and we are above the Going to the Sun Road. I love where I live.

Marilee, Dina, and a few others went an extra mile or two and major elevation gain to look over Grinnell Lake. (I was a bit whimpy).

This is such a pretty lake. Karen Bevans calls it the Toothpaste Lake.

This was a fun hike for us. We started a bit late and followed some horses at the beginning. It was a bit of jumping horse doo, doo, but we figured it out and know that it is always good to get an early start.

Zak stays at the Ranch

Zak stayed with us for a week or so this summer. It was so fun to have him on the Ranch. We went for a hike in Waterton. This is Sofa Mountain Falls.

Teancum Comes to Visit!

My first cousin Teancum stopped by this July.

We had a small get together with family that was around.

I sure hope to be able to see Teancum and his family again, they are very nice people. Teancum works for the US Gov't in various countries around the world, a very interesting fellow indeed. At this time, July 2019, Teancum was working for the US Consulate in New Zealand.

 I decided to try Mounted Shooting. Let me tell you that is so much fun!! This is at Claresholm,AB. Zee is a good horse and lets me shoot balloons. Is there anything more western than shooting of a horse at speed?? I love it!

The Other Side of Everest

February 2019

 Kelly asked me to do a week long Retreat Called the Other Side of Everest by David Irvine. It was a course on authentic leadership and really insightful. Kelly and I made friends with 2 guys from the east coast. I thought they were really good guys and we enjoyed riding the gondola with them. It was a very nice day out in a very beautiful spot of the world.
